This Privacy Policy describes how Pierce and Company, LLC (“Pierce & Company,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you visit piercencompany.com, call or text our business phone numbers, or contact us through our website or by email.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number and anything you tell us when you use our contact form, email, call, or text us.
- Call, voicemail and text details: when you call or text one of our business numbers we receive your phone number, the time and length of the call, and the content of any text message or voicemail you leave. Some calls may be recorded for quality and follow-up; we play a notice before recording. Voicemails are recorded and transcribed to text (see Voicemail and transcription below).
- Website data: basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited, as collected by our hosting provider.
How we use it
- To respond to your calls, texts, voicemails, form submissions and emails and to provide the services you ask about.
- To route calls and messages to the right person on our team, including forwarding a copy of a text message to our staff and sending voicemail transcripts to our team.
- To keep records, prevent fraud and spam, and comply with the law.
Voicemail and transcription
Some of our business numbers invite callers to leave a voicemail. When you do, we record your message and convert it to text (a transcript) using automated speech recognition provided by our telephone provider, Twilio, so that our team can read it quickly. We tell you this in the greeting before you leave a message. The recording and transcript are used only to respond to you, are sent to our team by email (and, once available, by text message), and are kept only as long as needed. They are not shared with third parties for marketing.

Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers who process information on our behalf only to operate our business — for example our telephone and messaging provider (Twilio, Inc.) and our website and email hosting providers (Amazon Web Services and Microsoft). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or safety.
How long we keep it
We keep call logs, messages, recordings and form submissions only as long as needed for the purposes above and our business records, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or tell us to stop texting you, through our contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Security and children
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Our services are not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new effective date.
